Black Out Ryders Vision and Mission

Our Vision and Mission is to nourish the seeds of knowledge already planted within the hearts of the next generation, which will grow into a beautiful and thriving tree, shading all cultures of our community, and eventually bear the fruits of a unified people. We believe in working, thinking, and planning to provide a stable and growing club and community.

At Black Out we view our work as the highest purpose life can hold-doing everything in our power to ensure an amazing future for our children’s grandchildren and beyond.  We therefore hold ourselves accountable for doing whatever we can to bring about that future.  And we also hold ourselves accountable not only to our constituents, and to the county we serve, but to the generations who come after us.

Black Out Ryders Motorcycle Club (BOR) was founded in 2007 by Corey, Terrance, & Jeremiah Knowlton.  We currently have three chapters located in Memphis, TN, West Memphis, AR, & Osceola, AR along with two Social Clubs in West Memphis, AR and Osceola, AR. BOR organization has an estimated 75 members and growing.

BOR is very active in the surrounding communities and have completed and currently maintain numerous charity projects, which are listed below:

• One of our most recent fundraisers was “The Santa Helper Project,” headed by Teresa Porterfield. We delivered over 450 gifts to 6 different communities.

• Another fundraiser was BOR donated football jerseys to EAST Jr. High School football team, located in West Memphis, AR.  

•  BOR conducted “Back-To-School” drive that was headed by Courtney Chatt. School supplies were donated as well as free haircuts to the local community children. 

• BOR also visits the Nursing Home every other weekend in Osceola, AR which is headed by Adrain Jones. We visit the residents and help groom the women.

• BOR visits the Osceola Elementary School twice a week to read to the student’s; to help enhance their reading comprehension skills. 

• BOR also meets with troubled children to mentor them.

• BOR has also raised over $900 and donated Wal-Mart gift cards to 3 less fortunate families during the holiday seasons.
